CRA for distributors — due care and product records
Distributors need a product-specific due-care process and a way to preserve concerns, supplier communication and traceability.
Check the supplied product
Identify the relevant product/version and supplier. Review the required information and marking, and retain the evidence and reviewer behind the availability decision.
Do not conceal uncertainty
Track missing or inconsistent documentation and security concerns. Preserve the reason for stopping, escalating or resuming availability; an uploaded supplier file alone is not approval.
Stay connected to remediation
Relate notices and updates to affected customer deliveries. If branding, modification or other circumstances change the role, reassess the applicable responsibilities rather than relying on an old distributor classification.
